I opened the box and took the chair out and unfolded them and they look very nice. The cooler is a very nice size and I love the little pockets hanging from the cooler bc I can store my phone in them. I love have everything is together because it makes an easy set up and you don’t have to use the umbrella. Now the chairs are a little small like just the back of the chair feels weird but I put a pillow on the back and it feels fine. I’m 5’4 and I weigh 160 and it holds me just fine and I fit in it just fine. My husband is 6’0 and weighs 180 and he fits in it just fine as well.
Though the product description says it can hold adults up to 250 lbs, there is no way a person that size could sit comfortably in these chairs. I am a very small adult of 100 lbs and even I feel squished sitting in them. Another thing I found frustrating was the size of the umbrella. It’s pretty small and doesn’t provide much shade. Even the coverage it does offer isn’t actually full shade. The material it’s made from is so thin it’s basically just filtering the sun, not blocking it. This product does have some redeeming features…the cooler is small, but works out well enough. Also, when the whole thing is folded and stored in the bag, it is lightweight and easy to carry.
I recently moved to the beach and I needed some chairs. When I saw this combo with the umbrella, i knew it was what I wanted. When the package arrived, I was pretty impressed with the dual chair. Yesterday, I took the chairs out on the beach and I was happy with them. It is a single folding unit and the umbrella mounts to the back of the chairs. When I bought this thing, I didn’t really realize that there were two pouches and a cooler in the center.
