My father’s Dr recommended a wedge cushion like this as an alternative to a belt to keep him from constantly slipping out of his wheelchair. I am sure it will do the trick. When I delivered it to his memory care home the staff was happy to see such a product and will recommend it to other families with the same issue. Feels well made. The vinyl covering is a soft vinyl, not stiff at all. The zipper closure will allow the cover to be removed if necessary. The Velcro strap attaches it securely. So far very satisfied with this cushion.
